The data controller is More Sailing Seglingsresor AB. The protection of your personal data is important to us. The protection is also legally regulated in the Personal Data Act, which is replaced by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on May 25, 2018. Below you can read about how we handle your personal data and what rights you have.

What personal data is collected

Personal data that will be processed includes, but is not limited to, name, date of birth, address, email address and telephone number.

We may also process requests for special diets or special information from you prior to the trip that is relevant to the completion of the trip.

You provide the personal data yourself when ordering a trip, ordering a brochure or newsletter, by telephone, by ordering from our retailers, by e-mail, via our website or when visiting us.

Purpose of personal data processing

Your personal data will be processed so that we can fulfill our commitments in ordered trips and additional products and keep you informed about current trips and the like. Processing of your personal data may also take place so that we can fulfill obligations under laws, regulations and to handle questions about your trips.

In addition to the purposes stated above, you agree that your personal data may be used for the purposes below and as a basis for our market and customer analysis, risk management and statistics in order to provide you with a better travel offer and better service.

Unless you have objected in writing to direct marketing, we may also use your personal data to provide various offers of services and/or products from us. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time via a link in the newsletter.

Storage of personal data

We store personal data for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purposes above. Normally, we store your personal data for 2 years from the date of your last trip or from the date of your contact with us in general. When you sign up to receive newsletters and offers from us, we save your data until further notice. You can easily unsubscribe at any time via a link in the newsletter or by contacting us by email as above and have all your data removed.

In some cases, we may need to store data for a longer period when required by law (e.g. accounting law).

Who may process your personal data

Your personal data is processed by our staff and by our partners for system services and administrative services with whom we have agreements on the protection of personal data, data processing agreements.

Your personal data may also be processed within the travel industry, e.g. by airlines, bus companies, hotels and local partners at the destination. Only necessary information is provided on each such occasion.

Processing of personal data in countries outside the EU and EEA

Depending on the location of your destination and the partners used, your personal data may be processed outside the EU and EEA. Even if the final destination of a trip is within the EU/EEA, for example, transport companies and hotels may be based outside the EU/EEA. Only the information needed for the implementation of the trip and other services are provided to partners.

By submitting your personal data to us, you agree that we process personal data outside the EU and EEA and are aware that legislation for the protection of personal data may be lower than in the EU and EEA.

Your rights to your data.

You have the right to withdraw your consent for us to process the data you have provided to us at any time.

This means that you can also request the rectification or erasure of your personal data. Such a request is made in writing to us. Your data will then be corrected or deleted within one month. If you have a current trip that has not been completed or finished, or have an ongoing complaint or similar, the data will be deleted within one month after this is completed.

You can also contact us to request access to the registered information we have about you, which we will provide within one month.

Travel conditions Sailing trip

These conditions apply to the crewed sailing trips we offer. Sailing trips are our complete packages that include everything from flight and boat to skipper, host, food, port fees etc. The conditions apply regardless of whether you have booked only a place on the boat or a whole boat.

The combined travel services offered to you constitute a package within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2015/2302. Therefore, you are subject to all EU rights applicable to package travel. More Sailing Seglingsresor AB will be fully responsible for the proper fulfillment of the package tour as a whole. In addition, More Sailing Seglingsresor AB is protected by law to refund your payments and, where transport is included in the package, to ensure your repatriation if it or they become insolvent.
