The best summer trip we had!!!

Just as wonderful as More Sailing describes!

We went / stayed on a catamaran(Lagoon 440, search on YouTube). What a lovely mega-fat boat. A party of 6 people had booked the boat, there were 2 places left that we were offered. We booked those seats, although we had no idea who the other guests were. It turned out to be a very nice gang from Helsingborg, only one of us had sailed before.

We visited Patrik & co at the boat show in Älvsjö after we booked the trip (Nice people). It was so exciting to get on the plane from Arlanda to Split. At the airport, we and many other more-sailing guests were picked up for further transportation to the boats. Skipper Adam and hostess Emilie met us on the dock. We arrived in the evening, the others had arrived earlier in the day (flew from Malmö). The host couple offered supper and we got to introduce ourselves. We and a couple more were newly married, then we were offered champagne and toasted to us! Thank you so much for that! We were offered a delicious breakfast buffet before we threw off, then we sailed, swam / snorkeled in various nice bays with super good lunches before we continued to different ports, sometimes we docked at the quay and sometimes we lay on "sway" at a buoy a bit out of the harbor. We were advised of various special restaurants in the evenings, including a place that we were driven to with "dingen" (the small boat that hangs in the back) where you went into the restaurant with the boat, the waiters received us with an outstretched hand. Shit cool! So there it continued! Those who wanted to could help hoist sails, drive the boat, dock at harbors, fend on/off etc. Sometimes we met the other more-sailing boats when we anchored/bathing or at some village.

The best of all was when we needed to cool down and we shouted "stop swimming!". Then "Adam the skipper" stopped the boat so we could jump in the middle of the sea. So nice!

We have a lot of cards, movies on land and in the water with go-pron that we can watch this winter.
